I think many of the reviews on quiet evenings are true. On arrival we were "greeted" by an extremely decompensated lady. Food and prices are okay, but unfortunately I have to say that we have experienced the worst and most unpleasant service here in a long time.

Food good, but staff brought us an extra salad and, although we advised them not to order it, said it would be part of the steak. So we ate it, since there is usually no salad with the sheep's cheese, this was not a problem. The boss noticed it later, when we had already eaten him, and she told us that too. Imagine that she billed him at 8.20 euros without pointing it out to us. We only noticed it in the car and where we had left her a tip of 7.50. That really annoyed us.

Cozy little eatery in beautiful surroundings. On Wednesdays there are very, very delicious steamed noodles with potato soup and a choice of vanilla or wine sauce. You have to pre-order them, but it's definitely worth it. The price is absolutely okay and the hosts are super nice.

You sit very nicely in the courtyard, therefore 2 stars. Food (schnitzel, rump steak and salad) were worth 0 stars: salad was old and the meat was completely dirty and probably "chewable" thanks to the plasticizer. My wife and I do not understand where the 4.3 points come from - so many people cannot suffer from aberrations in taste? !! Sorry, once and never again!

A cozy restaurant that invites you to take a break when hiking in the area. In the cold season, we recommend that you make an urgent reservation, as the dining room has limited space and is often fully reserved even at midday on weekdays. If someone wants to enjoy the wonderful steam noodles, a prior registration is necessary. We can recommend the restaurant and will come again.

Very nice location within the former monastery overlooking the oldest church in Leininger Land. The courtyard is very nice and the service was nice. The menu includes Palatine dishes as well as German bourgeois cuisine. There is also a day ticket. For hikers recommend the snacks.
